I’m off to Israel
The past few weeks have been very busy for many reasons, not the least of which is that I’m headed out today for a two-week trip to Israel on business. I’ll be staying in Haifa, working at the Intel facility there. I hope to do some sight-seeing and such as well. I’m certainly planning to post pictures and experiences here, so stay tuned!
Life is pretty much busy in every other aspect as well. Caleb’s been playing basketball, now soccer is starting up for Caleb and Trent next week. I’ll be back in time for the first games, and then we roll on into soummer with lots of other activities.
Since I’ll be gone for the next two weeks, Caleb and I had to hurry to finish up his pinewood derby car. I hope to arrive home on the evening of the derby itself to see it race. And yes, Caleb did a lot of it. This year we also got some help from our neighbor — it was nice to use his tools instead of having to drag mine out from the shed. Trent can’t wait until he gets to do a car - but he’ll probably just miss the deadline for it next year since his birthday is in April.
I really hope to get back into the habit of writing regularly. I enjoy hearing from any of you who manage to keep in touch as well.

Enjoy your trip, especially the sightseeing part. Can’t express how jealous I am, Israel being the only place in the world that I’ve ever really wanted to visit. Take pictures, write about your impressions. Come back loving your family all the more for missing them while you are gone.
